Suppressors Class 3 dealers in W TN??

West Tennessee guys, who do you use to transfer NFA items? I am new to the process and I am looking for a good dealer to work with. I have talked to two of the ones that are widely known and I am not thrilled to do business with either of them if there are better options.

Also, are you guys using trusts or acquiring the items as individuals? I live in Shelby county and I have been told that the sheriff signoff is no problem. I was told this by one of the dealers mentioned above and he also told me that a trust was a waste of time/money. I have been researching the pros/cons of using a trust and to tell you the truth, I am more confused than when I began looking into it.

You need to look into the benefits of establishing a trust, especially if you're married. Put it this way, if you go the CLEO route, nobody but you can have the combo to the safe. For me and my travels that just wasn't going to work. Your needs may be different.

Can't help on the dealer though, I'm on the other side of the state.

I have been useing Devey arms just southwest of Nashville. Wayne Devey is a Great guy to work with. There is a new class three in Savannah Tn. I think the name of the place is "lock and load".I have yet to check them out but plan to do so next week. I was going to use the guys at Range USA (or something like that)in Memphis but they were so rude that I chose to drive to Devey Arms about two hours away from me. I live in Pickwick dam Tn.

And YES !! You do need to take Redmanss advice and do the trust. I only wanted one can,but now I have four and looking at another. It is much easier to leave those stamps to your loved ones when your called to "permanent duty" and check out !!!

I know Nashville is a little bit of a drive for you, but Guns For America in Nashville is a great place to do class 3 business. I have bought 3 of my 6 cans their and Tom/Peg are great people. They have some in stock, but will get you what you want at a great price.
