This is kind of an odd request, but I’m looking for ideas for a US Constitution theme. I have tattoos on both forearms that will either be covered up or incorporated.
I’m trying to include my 3 boys’ names and tie those in to why the 2nd amendment/Constitution is worth fighting for. I’m looking for a Founding Fathers’ quote or passage from the Federalist Papers that really puts it all in perspective. Thanks, Dan

Yep, that’s going to be the basic theme. I kind of want a Declaration of Independence like scroll with “We the People” but add some quotes in the text with the kids’ names.

“Nuts” - Brig Gen Anthony McCaulife

“Don’t Give Up The Ship” - John Paul Jones

“I am not a crook” - Richard Nixon

“You have a republic. If you can keep it.” - Ben Franklin

“Don’t fuck up” - Chuck Mueller (My Dad.)

Whatever you do, research your quote. There are more fraudulent and apocryphal "quotes" on the net than there are real. Any time I see a 2A quote on the net, my first thought is below...

“If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.”
    ― Samuel Adams

“It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.”
    ― Samuel Adams

Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.”
    ― John Parker

“If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace.”
    ― Tom Paine

“In questions of power, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the constitution.”
    ― Thomas Jefferson

I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast; for I intend to go in harm's way.”
    ― John Paul Jones

I prefer Tyranny Interdiction Team or even better Tyranny Interdiction Team Specialist

(y) Now this is DEFINITELY a winning entry!

And I just remembered an image from somewhere too. It shows a guy wearing a black t-shirt firing a .50 cal Barrett. Camera angle was from his left right behind him. Let me see if I can find it. It would go quite well with the statement.

Not quite from the Constitution, but still good advice...

    I personally wouldn’t do it anymore,but if pressed I do like dewwey’s sugggestions,particularly #1.

The purpose of the Constitution is to restrain the ability of the government to effect the people, and to insure that the people can effect the government.
