Got in a CZ 455. Its got the integrally suppressed barrel from Thompson Machine and pretty much the predominate sound is the firing pin whack and the bullet strike.

Haven't scoped it yet,but I'll probably end up with a Nikon on it. I plan on using this one mostly for squirrels.

My only gripe is since CZ labels these as the "American"
you'd think that they would do away with that metric rail and at least put a standard Pictatinny on it.

Re: CZ 455 Integral

it's labeled the American due to the style of stock it has.

when the Lux and other models came out, good ol' usa folks didn't like the European styled combs, grip, and forestock.

so they made "the American" stock to better suit the styling of the traditional American mdl 700, mdl 70, etc sporting rifles.

they did have a run of 3/8 dovetails, but then the europeans complained, and there was much confusion. so now it's 11mm.

come to think about it, there are more countries of the world utilizing the metric system, better to cater to a worldwide market than a localized one i guess.

did you get one in 5.588MM or 4.318MM?

That is an awesome looking little rifle! I bet it shoots quiet as well! Would love to see a range report for it!

Welcome to the forums and where in Arkansas are you if you don't mind my asking?

Re: CZ 455 Integral

I will probably be PMing you. I paid for one a couple months ago and still waiting for the F3 to clear to my dealer so I can get a look at it. We have a AWC Ultra II at my side job, and I like it but chose the Thompson Machine when I made the personal purchase. Think the first thing I will do is paint the barrel black, then get the dip rail, then a shilen trigger, then maybe a Manners stock. Geez this gets expensive fast. lol
