Anyone else’s CZ 457 “bolt guide” part #31 seem like it was fitted but someone with a hammer? I pulled mine apart to inspect / torque everything to known values and had a baseline. With part #31 removed, again the bolt guide, the barrel slides up nicely to the indexing point. With it installed it takes some FORCE to push it flush against the barrel. Pics included of mine.

Gotta love mass production.
Sometimes there is a bit of slop in the tolerances.
I had to fine tune my bolt guide.
A few burrs removed and some easing of edges was needed.
After doing the minor clean up and reassembling
the barrel tenon slid into place easily.
Remember to loosen the mag well screws before installing the barrel.
Allows a small amount of play in the bolt guide needed to install the barrel.

Tighten the mag well screws to contact, then 1/8th turn more.
Don't over tighten. It will split the ears on the mag well .
