Daniel Defense Delta 5

As someone who’s actually owned both, I wouldn’t say “way better”. Better? Sure. “more refined” might be a better way of putting it.

I have had a Howa 1500 ss varmint, but i have now 3 Tikka T3X rifles, do you know why?
Because Tikka is better, hands down.

These 3 things are the key features.

Superior action.
Awesome trigger.
And very accurate barrels from the factory.

Bravo chassis is also very nice, i think it would cost way more than it does, it has all the features you need from a precision rifle chassis.
I have one and i like it very much, it was my very first KRG chassis.

Your original use of “way better” felt disingenuous to me. Howa’s are still solid options and shouldn’t be overlooked; that’s all I was trying to say.

Tikka is on way different level than Howa. Just on feeding and bolt smoothness alone. Not even close.

You need to decide if want to build or buy? I have been where you are, and I bought a Tikka TAC A1. The 308 comes with a 20" barrel and is guaranteed 1 moa or less out of the box. My TAC A1 is in 6.5 Creedmoor and I own a T3x in 308. Both are superbly accurate, no modification needed for hunting. The T3x is light for PRS type shooting.
