Considering this as a gift for Christmas, anyone have knowledge good bad etc. YES I've researched some but from actual
users wanted to know opinions from owners/users.

Would prefer a front/rear system, doesn't need the interior. Storage can be either card or wifi dl.

Road Keeper HD is legit. I know a dealer with a demo unit for $250 if you decide on it pass his info along.

Thanks db, but that may be a hair more than I'm looking for, definitely a nice system though.

As a follow up I'm looking more in the Tikka/Sako realm not quite the Cadex/AI realm

Most of them use the same sensor and processor. So, most of them are pretty bad.

If you want to see what color the light was, or what the other car was, most are okay enough. If you want to read license plates further than the car stopped in front of you, you have to really shop around.

I have a BlackVue unit front/rear cameras and works great once you figure out the set up and they have great customer service to help you.
