I'm genuinely excited for the new car, but anyone who thinks that it's gonna "level the field" hasn't watched much racing since the invention of the automobile  Given enough time, the team who deploys the most money in a reasonably efficient manner will win.

I had one behind me while driving at 80 mph. He followed me down the exit ramp and stopped me for rolling through the stop sign. I asked him WTF about the speeding. "Meh, you weren't zig zagging traffic to get ahead. Plus the stop sign is cheaper for you".
$50 and a Saturday morning at traffic school.
I got my one and only speeding ticket right there, by a chippy, on my way to Pendleton.

Both of my Harleys top out ~120mph, not sure if governed or just not enough power to beat the wind drag.
I rode one on duty for a year, shit engine and huge drag!

$50 for an E-3 in California. We were eating yellow noodles and PBJ for the last week and a half every month. That was beer money for a month back in 87. Priorities!
My speeding was $300 ish iirc, also an E-3 at the time.

That's a lot of $1 draft beer at the main side bowling alley.

The new m8 motor is probably the best so far. But I still wish I had my 80 block head.
I got off the bike right as that motor came out. Thought the dept might buy some, but they they went back to bmw.

Wavy freeway transition roads at high speed were not cool on the harley. Bmw’s were unshakable in the same places.

I mostly quit watching when they started getting political ndntrying to appeal to everyone but the fans. New car does nothing for me, but there’s sure going to be a lot of cheating.

If what I hear about the parts are all bought from a supplier is true that’s bullshit, too many guys fed their families making parts in house.

Well, the HD is designed for the 275 lb. driver with 250 lb passenger. While the BMW is designed as a motorcycle.

I can't test ride anything like that. It'll end up in the garage.
Lol, ya thats exactly how I got this one. They look goofy, but dang you can think it into a turn. Suspension electronically adjusts at both ends. Rear shock preload and dampening(even on the fly) can be adjusted to compensate for a passenger or luggage, which keeps it handling great.
