I had to boost the comb height on my new Ruger American Rimfire Target model that I plan on using for NRL22.

Which I'm sure has been posted before, but I didn't feel like buying a sleeping pad for only a few small pieces.
After looking around the craft section at my local Walmart, I found 12x9" sheets of craft foam. For 33 cents a piece, so I bought 4, and ended up only using 1.
Cut strips roughly 1 inch wide, along the 9" side, folding them in half. For me it took the whole sheet cut into strips, folded and stacked, and taped using a few strips of electrical tape to get a proper sight picture.
Used the standard 3m vet wrap, had some beautiful tactical teal to wrap it to the stock in the proper location.
Just figured I'd share my find to save some money with anyone else looking into this cheap mod.
