So far im aware of the following for use under bipod and/or rear support bags (besides adjustable base plates for rear that's not scope of query)

the harbor freight kneeling mat (one super thick size, bipod can mush it)
plywood (requires work, heavy for bipod use size)
chopped up yoga mats (annoyingly light and tend to roll also kinda thin generally)
pvc boards (so slippery is stacked , expensive and heavy)

any other concepts for such ideas and feedback?

I've used 2x6 boards with a piece of carpet on one flat side. And I've stacked these (along with a sandbag) when trying to achieve the right height for a front rest when helping kids sight in. No reason to believe it wouldn't work with a bipod or rear bag.

For when you are really shooting uphill....like Mifflin in PA lol
