Pierce Titanium action
McMillan Edge Canoe Paddle
Our wrinkles on a Bartlein #4
Dakota billet one piece floor metal
Jewel trigger
Some hokus pokus n peanut butter sammiches...
Wahla, 7.15lbs of fur ruinin' haten n killin machinery. (can you tell its late? I'm spent.)
Never done camo like this before. My airbrush foo just got a whole lot better with the New Iwata AB that I bought at Hobby Lobby. Learned something. Find a hobby lobby and log onto hobbylobby.com at the register. click coupons and give the teller the code. SAVED 40% !! on a $200.00 AB!! Basically this pattern is what I'd call "Autism camo" as I did little more than shake the brush as I ran over the stock. Not nearly as much effort as our typical stuff. Sure did go a whole lot faster! Client sent us a pic of a stock that he liked and I tried to emulate the pattern. It's reasonably close I think.
One little particular that I'm pretty excited about is finally being able to offer the floor metal inlet with a more accurate mirror image fit. Notice the radius transitioning to the magazine box. This is a fully 3D surfaced feature. Little 1/16 EM race tracking back and forth across the Z/X work plane. Probably silly as its something rarely seen, but I like it just because its one more thing "under the hood" that I can do to make these guns more complete. Took me awhile to get the programming sorted out, but now we've got it licked and I'm going through each floor metal program and updating as we do them.
Last is the bedding. Pretty cut and dry anymore. We've continued to refine our methods and they keep getting a little better here and there as we progress along. Don here is getting a good handle on the prep work to ensure things go well. It's a great thing for a business owner to have exceptional employees. I'm fortunate to have a kick ass staff.
Here's some custom engraving requested.
