FINALLY! Merry Christmas!

I placed an order for a rear sight base, and all the bolt parts for a M1903 Springfield efore Christmas - did not expect it before CHristmas but didn't think it'd be this late.


Today I am cleaning cosmoline and assembling my M1903 Modified bolt, Suh-Weet!!

I dont want to hac your thread but dont know where alse to ask this.
I know where a mint 1903 springfield bolt action is for like 90-100 bucks.
The gun looks like new but is all original, is this a good buy?

YES! I just paid $100 for the parts FOR a bolt, $169 for a stock, etc etc.

Now that I got all the parts and everything assembled, I gotta trim the top handguard, does not line up at the stacking swivel band - pics will be later today or tomorrow..

Well here she is, rear sight mounted, new bolt - just gotta get the front sight mounted and put a coat of tung oil on the stock and she's almost re ady to fire. (Headspace check of course)
