RemArms Sloppy Warranty Repair

Na, he is currently the resident fool. Came in hot and hard shilling Arkan but quickly switches what ever he bought last is the best thing since sliced bread.
I’ve been here since 2013…WAY before Arken was around, and I’ve never been affiliated with them in any way. And you are incorrect, I quite often find faults in things I own (like why I don’t use Arkens anymore), and am not afraid to discuss them. Including probably 2 dozen Remingtons. I still own probably 10, and 3/4 of those were customs I built. So it’s not like I’m talking about shit I don’t know about, or have no experience with. But I’m also not afraid to tell people whatI feel is or isn’t worth the money either, regardless of whether the resident fucktard Fudds refuse to accept it, or not. Often times anything new that gets discussed or mentioned on here is “scary and polarizing” and freaks them out, and they immediately hate it, with zero experience.

OLDER Remington rifles that you had repaired has no meaning here. It's OK with me if you and the FuhQ are perfectly fine with a quality escape, but others of us are not.
As the both of you strut your unpleasant attitudes and puerile name calling, let me never hear of either of you ever taking advantage of any warranty or recall of any consumer goods at anytime you ever post on this forum including any automotive recall, even a safety recall. Fix all your new shit yourself, and never ever return anything. Ever.
I didn't have it repaired. The stake marks are how the old guy who brought it to me for repair bought it years ago and is relevant as an example of this having been done for years and everyone accepts it as factory work except you.

I am missing the point. 🤣🤣🤣

A fully functional rifle with no bolt? You have zero clue if the trigger was located correctly after peeing. You have zero clue if the rifle was functional.

Remington did replace the rifle. And according to Remington thats not the way they fix them. Who'd a thunk? Guess Its not 1990 anymore.

So according to Remington the OP was correct. Which has zero to do with you and that retard fuh-q( our famous Arkan peepee sucker) yet you felt the need to continue to cry and talk shit to the OP like a butt hurt little bitch. Then for some reason you think im butt hurt for pointing out the two above stated facts.

To rehash

1. According to Remington the guys with skin in the game, the op was correct, that was not an acceptable fix.

2. Has zero to do with you two loud mouth retards. .
Only thing Remington did was make an old grouchy person stop whining. It's a clear example of if someone cries enough, big companies just give in (even when the big company does nothing wrong).

Clearly the cornhole knows nothing about building a rem 700 style rifles as the .0005" clearance will not change anything. The sear is still in the same location.

You did not inspect the rifle. So like the others you have not one clue if it's functional or not? You have no idea if the pins were located correctly how oversized the action holes were, their location. You know nothing nada zilch about its functionality post its unauthorized return to the customer from remington. You zero idea what the new remington consider acceptable or what they consider an acceptable repair. Again. It's not 1990. Do better.

In defense of the new RemArms I just shot my new SPS Remington 700 .308 last week for the first time. 20" version in a Magpul hunter stock with an old NF NXS 5-22 scope and my sweet TB 30-P1 silencer, 175gr FGMM. Shot like a dream, with a few 3 shot groups touching @100yds, they even come with Timney triggers now from the factory. If I ever have problems I won't be sending it away to the factory to fix. I've learned the hard way with Remington way back and Beretta CS to not waste time, money and aggravation.

well, Savage hasn't had to declare bankruptcy several times after fucking up it's products for decades.... so you be the judge?
Savage has changed hands 7 different times over the years, almost 2x as many as Remington, who has only changed hands 4 times. And Remington has been around almost 100 years MORE than Savage.

Here's Savage's body count... (7x)

Here's Remington's... (4x) They didn't change hands in 1912 when they merged with UMC.

Savage still haven't fucked up its products relentlessly for decades resulting in multiple bankruptcies.

just because a company changes hands, doesn't mean it was insolvent. companies are bought and sold often for many different reasons. but going bankrupt and having to be sold off to cover its failings is much different.

Remington deserves everything it's failed at, they have had to work hard to be so shitty.

that explains why it's 700 design is literally the SBC of the rifle world :ROFLMAO:

no doubt, the SBC comparison is warranted. and yet they couldn't seem to stay in business?

isn't that somehow worse? a company innovated this standard for actions and couldn't hold it together ? then got a really bad rep for poor quality ( walker trigger debacle), poor cartridge design and roll outs ( 6mm rem losing handily to the 243 win), cutting corners ( new 870s vs old 870s), Remington R51 pistol disaster and total recall. triangle barrels anyone?

i enjoy my vintage Remingtons as much as anyone. speaking of, who decided to stop making the 37 after only 3 years ? it was the only thing to arguably give the Winchester 52 a real challenge.

and yet, here we are discussing "RemArms" and not Remington. its a sad day indeed

Sadly you don't understand how big corporations work. Bitching about them stopping making 37's.....that just like people bitching that Buick only made Grand Nationals for a few years. Companies choose people to run them and answer to share holders. Sometimes those people make good choices and sometimes they don't.

my point. you made it.

though the car business is completely different than the gun manufacturing business.

Let’s keep the derail going. Freedom/Cerberus gutted Remington and Vista gutted Salvage. Vista gutted it so well that the management was able to buy it and is making the product line something that’s pretty likable and above any of the other bigger manufacturers except it’s still a Salvage action.

How do you bankrupt a company during the biggest gun run in history? Have it run by PE firms and then leave the vendors hanging.
