Mine won't let me got to the PRS match this weekend. just because I have a serous cough that the med professionals can't isolate and I can hardly get around. That should hurt my scores too much. (Keeping in mind, when I shoot stages I move just like a 75 year old man, but wait, I am a 75 year old man).
She does not mind the cost of the rifle, but goes crazy when I add a scope. GOD only knows what she would have done if I had purchased the scope I really wanted this week, a ZCO

I watched Gerald’s response (to NGJ) this afternoon and nearly fell out of my chair when he said $25K/mo - it’s fucking criminal. As if that’s not enough, she’s trying to break his spirit and tarnish his reputation with doctored security camera footage. She also allegedly deleted over 2000 hours of security footage that might have told a different story. The text and emails from her and her family do not look good either.

Anyone ever hear of the expression, "it's a dealer's game?" For the uninitiated that means that the chances of a player beating the dealer are extremely low. In the old west the card game, Faro, use to be a popular game in the saloons until more sober minds figured out that it was a "dealer's game."

Marriage rates are declining but the feminist driven sociologists cite a multitude of reasons, other than the obvious. Younger men or the ones that have been raked over the coals from a previous marriage see this as a "dealer's game" and are refusing to play.
The feminist driven sociologists don't mention anything about the feminist led divorce courts and how the man loses almost everything, to include his kids. The women, seeking marriage recognize that factor.
That's why they are willing to play a game that they know they can win. When someone knows that they can take a gamble in a game they are certain to win, they will make the first play.
That's also why more men, particular the younger ones, are refusing to play a game that they can only lose.
There is no such thing as a fair poker game, a fair fist fight, fair labor negotiations or a fair divorce court.
So back to my question: If you knew that you had a 50/50 chance of getting shot at the shooting range, and an 80% chance of dying from your wound, would you even pack your range bag for the day?

i found a South Georgia girl 30+ years ago who doesnt spend money like it grows on trees, doesnt bitch when i do and can cook with the best of them. I truly feel for yall young guys trying to find a wife this day and time with what i see. Have a nephew thats fixing to take the knee with one that looks high maintenance from what i see and hear about her.

I found one in Fla. 50 years ago, that was the same way. Those type are getting harder to find these days. One of the reasons many American men, are now looking off shore.
i told him he better be looking for signs of crazy before he does the deed. shes a redhead and a good looking one at that so i think hes pretty much done for.

When they are showing tats or wearing the tackle box that is like a huge neon sign saying look at me, I'm special. These days if all the special people were still attending school, all the short bus's would arrive with standees, and the orders of same would have a back log.
Good ones are still out there. If I can find one, so can anybody else. We got married last July, at the ripe old age of 49 for me. She owns and runs her own business, is a published author, was a chef so she's an excellent cook (as am I), and is probably a better handgun shooter than I am. As long as the bills are paid, she never says a word about hobby spending (bikes, guns, bourbon, cigars, etc), and is always up for a road trip, challenge, etc. She knows I'm into being fit, so she paid and signed us both up for gym memberships and we've been getting up at 5:30 to hit the gym before our workday starts. We've never had an argument, not once. We went into this knowing we were different people, and at the end of the day, we just sit down and talk about things like adults, and have grace with each other. She also knows that sometimes I just need some alone time in the garage or gun room, as I was alone for a long time (and was fine with it) and she's ok with that, and understands it.
As far as church is concerned, if your church is focusing on codemnation rather than salvation, or God forbid modern political agendas, you're in the wrong church.
I'm more blessed than I deserve with her. And for all her stack of degrees and accomplishments, somehow she still married my dumb ass.

A natural beauty. 19-20 year old college student. Ring between her nostrils, another ring in each nostril. Barbell piercing at the bridge of her nose/between her eyes. Rings in her lip. Studs in her cheeks. Many rings in each ear.

My best marriage advice. Take her shooting very early in the dating process (or hunting). If she takes too it, grab her, if she doesn’t, RUN! You‘ll probably never be happy. And she will do her best to make you misrable.
This is so excellent and simple. I have always taken them shooting but never gave much weight to how well they take to it.

I did that once. Every one with facial hair and a hardon came over to offer the little lady their "advice" on marksmanship. They weren't satisfied with sniffing bar stools at the local watering hole.
It was the closest that I came to using my firearm to punch holes in something besides paper.
It didn't work out with her anyway. She had a three-year-old with a head that would spin 360 degrees, spewing green vomit over everything.

It will be 40 yrs for us in Dec. She has been a good one. Hung in there through deployments and all the mess that goes with that. Let's me shoot without arguing, and doesn't complain about some expensive hobbies. Will politely let me know when I need to back off a little due to budget as she keeps our books. As good as she is, we still have a spat every once in a while, mainly due to the Venus/Mars thing. Its just human nature. Overall I can't complain. I got a hottie that loves me. They are out there, but it's a different era now.

She's beautiful, brilliant, fun, and can be non-nonsense tough when needed. No permission BS going on here but we are both responsible so we buy what we want and I go on several trips a year with buddies to fly-fish, shoot, attend concerts or other events without worry. I had apartments in a couple of other countries (work related) during our marriage - no drama whatsoever. She did 11 years active (medevac) and left with a bronze star (among other recognition) for hanging in there and keep our guys alive and put together when all hell broke loose. The Sarge can still come out occasionally if needed!
She went on to earn a couple of advanced degrees and makes a ton of money as a health care executive. Its a tough job and I get it as I was a C-level exec with global responsibility for many years. I've taken a flyer a couple of times to start businesses (so no income for a bit) and it's all been fine and well supported. Likewise - I covered her to take extended time away from her career to full time parent for a bit as well as pursue one of her masters degrees. (We don't really do the "traditional roles" BS.) We are grateful for our wonderful life, an amazing family, and are now up to 3 awesome grand-kids that we spend a lot of time with.

Shit I was at a sports bar a couple nights ago and there was this girl who had the body of a young Dolly Parton and the face of an older Walter Mathau. I looked at her a bunch of times because I couldn't process what I was seeing & she thought I was hitting on her so we wound up talking. She was a single mom and had brought her little daughter (7-8??) to the bar with her wearing a matching outfit. Like WTF.
