FIRE EMERGENCY in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. 01/07/2025. Winds of 60-100mph forecast tonight that will accelerate Palisades blaze.

Not sure if this is CGI or real. Almost impossible to tell these days with AI bullshit.

But supposedly Pacific Palisades.

yep, their commie president...doing what the does...putting America Last. Seriously, does this still shock anybody ???? They are COMMUNISTS....and worse than just COMMUNISTS...they actually want the USA to CEASE TO EXIST.

Technically, they want the USA to cease to exist, except in their cushy little Los Angeles nest of pedo scum. This is not what they want. They want this for Texas and Western North Carolina. Certainly not their seaside paradise Hollywood dreamworlds.

If they had been eating bugs, they wouldn’t be homeless! Well, no refunds.

Oh and because Newscum has banned 'cleaning up brush' and dead wood because it's not 'natural.' So after two above average rain years, it's not horribly dry. But the place is covered with tinder-dead fuel!

And... tough shit. They all voted for this. So watch your damn house burn and remember, you asked for this. Fuck off and get another boostsr.

Sirhr
Not everybody voted for it.... Most likely, since Dems run CA, that same 15 million that didn't vote in the last Presidential election.. all voted Dem in CA.
Now, we'll see if the undead Dems still vote Dem this next election. My guess, yes. They'll forget all about this and hear how orange man is bad and vote Dem.

OnX fire layer shows it’s still going strong. The red is the main body of the fire with the orange spots being hot spots, some might be fires and others might just be the hot spots obscuring the satellites. This is most evident with the hot spots over the ocean.

In my AO we had 4 controlled burns in the summer to clear the ground for about 10K acres each, current fire started by a camper is about 9K acres, they have let it burn the ground while protecting homes and structures, it is within a containment zone and they prepped for the winds by back firing, keeps the forest healthy.

Having lived through several of these very large fires and fought several, one thing that I have noticed is that the heat sources picked up by satellite can be very misleading. The satellites will pick
Up hot smoke and make an observer think that a perimeter is much larger than it really is. Unfortunately these tools were not as readily available when I was in the business.

This is what happens when you’re a Hollywood douche bag and you abandon your car in the middle of the street.

Bet that ain’t buffing out. And I bet the insurance doesn’t pay off because it’s a natural disaster.

I bet all those green car battery packs are not spewing out any toxic fumes or causing difficult fire situations

Pasadena Humane Society is getting slammed with injured and lost pets

Update as of 6:30 pm on January 8:

We have taken in over 300 animals due to evacuations and have staff and volunteers working nonstop to help with their care. We are starting to see many animals coming in with burns and injuries. These animals are being treated in our ICU. We are providing them with pain medications, wound care, fluid, and oxygen as needed.

We’re working with shelters across the state who have offered to take in the animals that were already in our care so that we can focus on providing resources to the displaced animals. A huge thank you to the shelters throughout California who are offering assistance, as well as all people in our community reaching out to volunteer or donate. Our biggest need right now is for monetary donations to help provide emergency resources to animals affected by the wildfires.

If you are being evacuated and can go somewhere with your pets–such as a friend or family member’s home–that is ideal. If you are evacuating, please take your animals with you. We are very thankful that the Pasadena Civic Center has allowed people to stay with their pets. We are helping in any way that we can–providing them with resources such as food and leashes for the displaced families. We also have pet food available at the shelter for those who need it. If you cannot go somewhere that allows your pet to stay with you, you can bring your animals to the shelter where we are offering emergency boarding.

Our Animal Control Officers have been on the ground helping animals in the community. While they are not going into the active fire areas, we are preparing to get in many injured animals that will need our help in those areas once the fires are cleared. If you find injured wildlife, please text our wildlife helpline at 626.344.1129. If you find any other animal, including dogs and cats, please call Animal Control at 626.792.7151 ext. 970.

We anticipate getting in even more animals who are in need of emergency medical care as the fires continue.
If you are able to donate, please visit pasadenahumane.org/wildfirerelief

We’ve had an overwhelming response from our community in regards to fostering. We will keep our community updated if we are in need of more foster volunteers. Thank you to everyone for your support!

Eaton Fire Update: We have taken in over 100 animals overnight and are continuing to take in animals for emergency boarding. Due to the proximity of the evacuation zones, we are also making preparations to evacuate the shelter, if needed. At this time, all animals are safe and unharmed at the shelter.

We continue to accept animals for emergency boarding at our Animal Resource Center at 361 S. Raymond Avenue, Pasadena, 91105.

Large animals should be taken to the LA Equestrian Center, 480 Riverside Dr, Burbank, CA 91506.

We are currently coordinating with Cal Animals and ASPCA disaster response to mobilize more resources to assist with the situation.

To help, we ask that anyone who can safely foster a dog or a cat for at least one week to please come to the Pasadena Humane Foster Office or email [email protected]. Our greatest need is for large dog fosters. Please note that we do not have in-home history on most animals in our care and are unsure how they get along with other pets.

If you are able to donate to help provide emergency resources to animals affected by the wildfires, now is the best time. Every donation, no matter how small, will help to provide lifesaving resources. please give now at pasadenahumane.org/wildfirerelief

We are also in need of food and water bowls, extra large crates, and blankets. If you are able to donate any of these items, we will have a donation bin located in our front parking lot where they can be dropped off.

And no doubt any if they find any water to use, no heavy metal contamination in the storm drains to the ocean. None...that's commie heavy metal and knows it needs to recycle itself properly.

Hey all you reprobates, ponder this for a minute.

You instill DEI in your LAFD so hard that you start hiring more and more womens. We all know you only have to pay womens 70 cents to the dollar for wages and benefits. It has to be a fact because I've heard the same sad story for 30 years.

Now if you are spending less, then you can cut the budget (which, by the way, they did) and you can put that money to good use like buying 'environmentally friendly street sweepers. (yuppers they did that too)

As Ron White says, 'You can't fix stupid'

Just one of my observations.

They will most likely be organizing and commanding ad hoc committees of vigilance to do patrols to discourage looters and other opportunistic scumbags who everybody knows will be taking advantage of the chaos and strain of emergency services to prey on the community.

Bottom could be a drone cam shot. Most residents of 01/07/25 evening evacuation zones are reporting total losses of property. The Palisades blaze was completely uncontainable.

So it is being reported that none of the homeowners in the Palisades area had fire insurance... companies pulled fire coverage 24 months ago due to poor management and fire risk.

Not sure if that's correct... but everyone I see keeps saying "I don't have insurance." And I can't believe that many people out there are uninsured.

Newscum's political career is over, methinks! Too bad it's too late to get rid of their Senators, mayor, congresspeople, etc. while they're at it.

Well, no refunds! Maybe they should get some additional vaccines. It will make them feel better.

Fuckers who bugged out and abandoned their pets should be euthanized...

I get it... some folks were travelling, not home... cats outdoors, etc... But leaving your pet to burn... motherfuckers.

Sirhr

It always surprises me that folks build everything out of carboard,4x2,osb plate and then plaster it all up to look like not built out of woodchips. Even the expensive fuck is all fake , Every other expensive beach in the world its all stone or conctrete.

You are correct, they have been non-renewing policies for the last two years and if you can find it plan on $20K.

The Camp Fire was the result of Rotten High Energy Electrical Lines in Butte County, Thomas Fire rotten Electrical Lines in Ventura County, 100 year-old transmission lines are a problem. The appointed fools on the CA Public Utilities Commission are just political hacks, they do nothing.

North Carolina deserved a news conference and got shit but the Marxists get prime time - fuck.

Here in this hopeless fucking hole we call L.A.
The only way to fix it is to flush it all away
Any fucking time, any fucking day
Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona bay

Some say a comet will fall from the sky
Followed by meteor showers and tidal waves
Followed by fault lines that cannot sit still
Followed by millions of dumbfounded dipshits

Fuck L. Ron Hubbard and
Fuck all his clones
Fuck all these gun-toting
Hip gangster wannabes
Fuck retro anything
Fuck your tattoos
Fuck all you junkies and
Fuck your short memories
Yeah, fuck smiley glad-hands
With hidden agendas
Fuck these dysfunctional
Insecure actresses
'Cause I'm praying for rain
I'm praying for tidal waves
I wanna see the ground give way
I wanna watch it all go down
Mom, please flush it all away
I wanna see it go right in and down
I wanna watch it go right in
Watch you flush it all away

Yeah, time to bring it down again
Yeah, don't just call me pessimist
Try and read between the lines
I can't imagine why you wouldn't
Welcome any change, my friend

... turns out it was wild fires...

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Authorities are investigating the theft of nearly 100 fire hydrants in Los Angeles County this year, sheriff's officials said Monday.

Some 85 hydrants have been stolen in unincorporated areas of the county, and another 14 in Lynwood, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Heck that looks about like Dresden!

Well, they deserved it, too!

Sirhr
That is exactly the reference I have been using, Dresden. I do this shit for a living and have seen some crazy shit. Handled $100M USD 100% single carrier insurance claims, fires, hurricanes, towns wiped out by tornado and even I am blown away and amazed by the scope of this. It is unprecendented.
