Riding on an international carrier that was taxiing to the gate at their hub, lots of passengers were standing up in the single isle. I watched the flight attendant pick up the handset and give a PA to sit back down as they were still taxiing to the gate. More people got up. Next time she picked up the handset it wasn't a PA. The Captain jumped on the brakes, a bunch of assholes went tumbling and piled up on each other on the floor. Priceless.

Some middle school parents in our district caught wind of some critical race theory-like lectures being given by a teacher in the district. They all got together, had matching t-shirts printed and flooded the BOE meetings demanding her removal. Everyone gets three minutes to speak at the meetings and they dragged the last meeting on until about 10:30pm until they decided to close the meeting. There was still a line of parents in the hallway looking for their three minutes.
I believe said teacher has since resigned and moved to a more liberal district.
There are still some good ones out there. You just don't hear much about it.

Even better, used to work with a guy that had done an expat stint in Africa as a 727 Captain. He said one time when they landed he told the security guy to go talk to the lead flight attendant because a couple of guys had given her trouble during the flight. Now, he's still in his seat with the window open, doing paperwork, and hears a pop, pop, out the window from the ramp. He leaned over to look out and saw that the security guys had shot each of the two in the head at the bottom of the stairs. "That's not what I had in mind" he said.

If charged in state court, the penalty for felony battery in CA is up to 3 years in state prison.
In Federal court,

An individual on an aircraft in the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States who, by assaulting or intimidating a flight crew member or flight attendant of the aircraft, interferes with the performance of the duties of the member or attendant or lessens the ability of the member or attendant to perform those duties, or attempts or conspires to do such an act, shall be fined under title 18, imprisoned for not more than 20 years, or both. However, if a dangerous weapon is used in assaulting or intimidating the member or attendant, the individual shall be imprisoned for any term of years or for life."
The "special aircraft jurisdiction" noted in the above statute is:
(a) any civil aircraft of the United States;
(b) any aircraft of the United States armed forces;
(c) any other aircraft in the United States;
I guess they added (c) to cover everything they missed in (a) or (b).
They probably won't go that route, unless there's some new AUSA looking to establish a reputation, but I'd be reluctant to put myself in that position just for the satisfaction of punching out some asshole.

Be interesting to see the other videos, not sure someone not having a mask on is a reason for a flight attendant to go hands on, I think what the airline does will lead the way for what the DA does, if the airline suspends the flight attendant, bet this will fizzle life, most folks still think planes are that of magic and witchcraft.
