Not so sure the 100% flagged and targeted for mental illness denials statement. I have documented PTSD from my service and haven't faced any denials on purchase of any of the suppressors I have nor any weapons.

This scenario is why I refuse to have anything related to mental health with my VA records. Call it fear mongering or whatever. But I do not trust the Government. I have buddies who get decent benefits for having PTSD or "anxiety" percentages on their disability, I just worry this would be an easy and obvious step for some tyrants to take.
Tbac 338 SR G2 approved today 176 days. Had a flow 762 submitted the same day hopefully I get it back later today or tomorrow so I can make only one FFL trip.
Former mil officer, sec clearances as mil and civ, zero criminal record....and still got put on endless delays by NICS.
So, I got a UPIN (which was approved in less than a day) and last NICS check went thru like crap thru a goose.
Something to consider.
In addition to 4 day work weeks averaging 4 hrs/day...They could literally process them in 5 to 15 minutes (same as a NICS check for a gun purchase), but they don’t… It’s called government, bureaucracy, and job security.
I got the same notice. HmmmmThe ATF was making sure you knew you were actually approved and good to go!
There’s no rule, rhyme, or reason. Could be just two.

I had one form 1 approved less than 30 days back December 23. Certified and submitted another first week of January and still pending. Like everyone is saying, no rhyme or reason to the process. Typical federal government work.

I have a rifle that I've been holding off using for deer until I got this can to go with it.
Can approved 11/11, firearm deer season opens 11/15.
Better than my Silencer Shop notification. They notified me that they made a mistake and I lost nine months of waiting.
Ouch!
Had that happen once, but it was only 4-5 months. It was the dealers fault.

I contacted my rep to ask the ATF on my behalf what’s the hold up. ATF responded with a boiler plate response, but my form was approved 7 days later. All of my other cans have taken at least 300 days.
