I called again today and the lady on the phone was quite pleasant to me as well. When she told me I am still pending I asked “ it’s 8 months today, how long is the process taking right now”. She stated 7-10 months is standard but recently it’s looking like a year plus may be a reality. Not what I was hoping to hear at all.

All 4 of mine were Form 3's to my local SOT's before the Form 4 was sent to the ATF.

Well, this is awful to hear.. I had a suspicion that all these sub 6 month approvals were going to end once the new ATF leadership started to come in... this is terrible news, I'm cashed March 10th, was hoping got September, but I guess I'll be calling my reps around then as the wait is likely to balloon under these people.
I hope my 3 cashed on December 29 & 31 will be back soon...Then it won't make the wait time seem so bad for my Sandman-S that was cashed on 4-7-2021...Hopefully I'll get it back before Christmas. Luckily it's at my local SOT that is only 3 minutes up the road, and they have a range, so I get to go play with it whenever they're open. I'm just hoping my 3 other stamps will come back soon so I'll have those to use while waiting, and I'll be able to use my precision rifle can (Nomad-LT) for this upcoming hunting season. 
I called today to check on my approval, December 15th cash date. She was super pleasant but I could tell she liked to hear the disappointment in my voice when she said "seven months". Deflated. I think my soul briefly exited my body.
Have a brand new 300 BLK SBR1 build that I've not even shot yet, was waiting for the can and am still hoping for a May approval, gotta be positive! I think calling is sort of a waste honestly. They don't have any actual knowledge specific to your situation other than a basic estimate from when the check was cashed.

Times are increasing, don’t get your hopes up. I have form 4s cashed in October 2020 of last year that still have not been approved. Several guys who have commented have form 4s from early summer 2020 with nothing yet. It sounds like a big part of it is the new ATF admin that had been brought in is likely slowing things down. I’m hearing 10-12 months now from several sources. Let’s hope to god that’s not the case!
I don't think it has anything to do with the new ATF director. Look around... suppressor sales are through the roof. Everyone getting their stamps in process now in fear that shit is coming. I have a few that are in process. 1 started 2 months ago, another just got check cashed. I doubt I’ll see them this year.
Well I guess my argument there would be, suppressor sales have been at an all time high for a year and a half now, and all of last summer into early 2021 I was hearing it was very common to see form 4s back in 4-6 months. I got a form early last year when everything was sold out and still got the stamp in 5 months. Sent another one in early summer and had it in October, and sent a third in a few days later. I’m now about 7 months deep on a can that I should have had 2 months ago according to other SHers with similar check cash dates. That has since changed in just the past 1-2 months from the feel of things. Now every time I call to check I hear 7-9 months, when just 2 months ago they said 5-7 months on the phone. It’s all speculation, but again, something changed and I don’t think it was suppressor sales.
I have never called before so I have no idea what they say over the phone.
But I wouldn't put too much stock in their canned generic responses.
My last can was cashed in late October 2020 and got back in April of 2021.
Only time will tell but I'm thinking its just the flow of things right now.
I guess I will just have to report back in around sept/oct of this year on when my next one gets approved (hopefully). It was a March 26th cash date.
I only have one in process right now which was the first week of February 2021. I hopeful for August or September but we’ll see. I’m not even close to wondering about it yet. I’m about to start another on a DeadAir Wolfman in the next couple weeks. The good news is I have a form 1 stamp to play with right now. Still lacking a few parts to complete it.

Apparently the individual reviewing my accounts took a vacation, because everyone who has posted checks cashed on here in september, october, and now november are all getting theirs. We will see. My trigger finger got itchy and since I can't shoot I just dropped coin on a TBAC 338 can I don't even have a host for lol

They were built for DEVGRU (Seal Team 6) for their new Noveske 10.5" 5.56 and .300 BLK rifles. If it was just cerakote, I would have waited, but the fact it has a SMS-MIL-XXXX serial number on it, I had to bite the bullet. That's going to be a conversation piece some day. It's not everyday you get to buy brand new production, currently-being-used, MIL contract items at regular prices. That's why I went ahead. I was already planning on getting another SM-S in the future, but when those got released, I was like...
Deadair Odessa cashed Nov 25th. Stamp at dealer 5/8-2021. And DeadAir wolfman check chased 12/25 2021. Stamp at dealer 5/8- 2021. These are 2 of 4 I bought and I'm not going to lie. I was shocked when the LGS called. Those two were signed bye the same person. I'm not holding my breath on the Nomad L and CGS mod 9 they were cashed Fed 2nd. I’m not following this. I had one mailed back in the first week of March. Check was cashed 8 days later. I have another that was sent on the 5th of this month. I’m sure it will say cashed in the next week or so.
Thanks for the info. I have a hard time trying to find out which unit actually booked them. Do you have a reputable source to confirm that? And yes, I bought the FDE S also.
I hope he is just talking. I never call the ATF and check the status of them so I don't no. I do no two guy's were standing at the counter upset because there cards or checks were showing chased at the bank. Butt when they called the ATF they said they were told it could be 90 days before it's putt into the system. That's what when the LGS said that. I pray it's not true.

How long is it taking the guys who have been approved to get your stamp in hand? As of today I'm at 6 weeks and still no stamp at dealer... I would really hate to wait an additional 45 days for a certified copy.
My last one was approved March 8, dealer didn't get stamp until Late April
I tried yesterday and she mentioned it was with an examiner.. not sure if that means anything but I'm still pending as of 8/19
Called today, Still pending. She (Jenifer) said 7-10months. Being 8/25, I'm approaching 10months.
I finally couldn't resist the urge to call. He found my form 1 and all and just said "in processing " is all I can tell you. I always heard that once you have a control number, it won't be too long after but I have had a control number for 6 months... and it's been created for 9 months. My form 4's were don't 9 months ago as well. That's just pathetic...

So quick question guys. 6 months from cashed 11/12/2020 today. Form 4 individual. Looking over my file copy of my form 4 and I realized my dealer made a mistake. Under box 17a he put “not Hispanic or Latino” when I am indeed Hispanic or Latino. Anyone know if this will cause some issues?

I sure as hell wouldn't say anything about it at this point. I doubt it will matter. After you get it, then find out how to correct it if you want, or just don't worry about it.

Do they email you something when your form 1 is approved so you know to be looking for the stamp???
So quick update. I ended up emailing the NFA email. To try and get an update, and the guy hit me with a generic response telling me to call. I told him that wasn’t good enough because I had to make sure my UPIN was on there, and if I could speak to my direct examiner. He ended up forwarding my email to a lady that told me that she saw both of my form 4’s. Yet neither one of them showed my UPIN. She told me my background had been done in February of this year, but had been delayed and was in a backlog with the FBI and that they were currently somewhere in Nov 2020. She asked me for my UPIN And said that she would make sure it was put on both forms. I sent it to her and she responded about nine hours later telling me she had put it on both forms and had gotten my first background approved and told me she went ahead and spoke to my examiner so that she could push through my form 4. Good day today
