When did become illegal to ride your bike to school? I grew up riding my bike or walking to school. wehn we wer 10 we would take horses and be gone all day in the hills. What the fuck is going on. Did some lily livered, pussy faced, liberal make it illegal to walk to school?

I get it, we also HAD to walk to school regardless of weather. We were gone riding our horses in summer to the creek and literary swimming (hoofs can hurt) with them to running our 2 strokes MX bikes in the hills behind my House until it was dark.

That said, this just looks like a see me bill. Is it limiting anything? Just asking, not wtf is going on..

The real problem is bureaucrats in the form of child protective services (or what ever it's called in your area) have been taking children away from their parents because THEY have deemed certain behaviors such as 'forcing' children to walk to and from school dangerous and therefore parents who display such behavior are not fit to have their children.

This is what happens when directors in these agencies decide they know best, and this is why these laws are being passed.

I think they need to go back upstream and determine how these agencies were allowed to make those decisions in the first place and change their scope of duties to eliminate the problem. The inherent problem with this is you would make these agencies smaller and all of us here know that will never happen.

    Just my 2 cents.

I swear nowadays you can smile at someone and get arrest for it. Everything is illegal.

No shit. I can't keep up with all the bullshit, I'm not kidding, I'm serious. At some point enough is enough and if you don't push back they won't stop.

I did all that shit and more. I walked to school at 6. FWIW, I've NEVER seen a kid in WA walk to fucking school. We have those speed zones but don't need 'em, I've seen these little fucks hold up traffic because they weren't waiting for the bus (but I get to wait in traffic while he finishes breakfast and ties his shoes). And some of them live less than 500m from the school. Holy shit.
