French FR F1/F2

[Arbiter]

Does anyone know if any of these have made it into the US? I've heard rumors and vague implications that they exist in this country, but never any definitive statements or photos. This seems like the appropriate forum in which to ask: I'm rather curious to know how well they were built, and what sort of performance they can turn in. Anyone know?

Never seen one, but I hope they are built better than some of the French cars I've driven in the past!

The one I saw had a white flag pop out of the barrel when you pulled the trigger. LOL

they are using HK417, PGM in Astan now. Slowly replacing the FR F1/F2. They are decent rifles but old.

Heard there were some like new, never fired, only dropped once. Sorry couldn't resist.

Neither one of those first two links work for me, and I've not been able to find any results on SH.

Does anyone know roughly how many there are in the US, or who/when they were imported?

You've got to be doing something wrong.

Go to the Search box and type in FR F1.

I just did it and it pulled out results.......

There are 2 in the US, they are FR G2 (export models)
One looks like the first photo in this post, the other has a synthetic stock (very rare, only 10 made).
