I live in Wisconsin, quit watching when the kneeling started. Avoiding the anthem beats playing that new black anthem shit that some other teams are doing. Either way I'm done. You're late to the party.
Professional sportsball has been dead for a long time. They just never knew it yet. The beginnings of the 'woke' nonsense that sportsball franchises seemed to adhere to like a cult has already been seen in the early-mid 2000s. The creation of the XFL by pro-wrestling president Vince McMahon in 2001 was an attempt to create a new football league separate from the established franchises and free from political correctness. However, the only problem that doomed it was that the XFL was fueled by the same sports entertainment style system that it's pro-wrestling bigger brother runs on. The established "pro" franchises had already started committing slow suicide at that time. They had lost any true competitive spirit like sports must have in order to function. They had become money-generating platforms for political pandering and celebrity freakshows. There is NOTHING to celebrate or follow in the world of "pro" sports today. Let them go broke and die.

I am a life long Vikings fan, so double fuck the Packers. This is the first year I haven't watched a second of any game or even checked the scores. I am going to have a lot more free time on Sundays now.
. Yes, I knew most of the history; but I refuse to watch NFL, NBA, and now MLB and maybe NHL. The Louis Hamilton show has about ruined F-1 for me too. So, I'm about sports-less now, no big loss for me though. never understood watching people on a team that make MILLIONS per year who bitch like a bunch of whining babies. I'd rather watch golf or tennis where the result is on ONE man (even though there is definitely a team effort).
The NFL lost me during the "hands up, don't shoot" bullshit. I still watch, but I make no purchases to support the team. No clothes, no tickets, nothing. I used to go to games regularly and half my wardrobe was Packers gear. I took my son to Lambeau to see it in person at least once before the game is gone but I can't see myself going back.

Even if the Bills weren't the worst fucking team in history to stumble onto fake grass (by managing to lose 4 FUCKING STRAIGHT SUPERBOWLS IN A ROW!....still a standing record) I still wouldn't watch them. I remember the excitement that the majority of people I worked with would have when football seasons started, the water cooler talk, the watch parties, employees fighting over which team and player was the best, employees fighting over who had the day off after superbowl (to recover from hangovers). To those that enjoy the games, the players, the stats the plays and talking all this crap with friends/family/coworkers are all missing out.

I remember once living in Dallas I was at the gym and was not in a great mood about pro-sports way back then. We had a lot of pro-sports players that came in (since they got comp'd on everything) all the time. One guy, who wasn't a pro-player but did play (I think) college hoops was almost irate when I said... "you know who should get millions of dollars? Those crazy people that go fly airplanes and land on a carrier deck in sea state 5, at night, in rain, that's who should be making millions of dollars, not some idiot wearing tights and catching a ball."

I stopped watching football decades ago. Whenever I tuned in to watch the games, it was during half-time for the cheerleaders.
When they started letting the sodomite cheerleaders in the half-time festivities, I stopped watching altogether.
So now you have to ask yourself the question: could some of those cheerleaders wearing those skimpy short-shorts and sports bras be trannys?
