Just got my call this morning. ordered my 10 on 5/12. shipping in the next few days. not even a 2 month wait. once it gets here gotta go through d.r.o.s. , I should have rifle in hand well before the end of the month. Thank you G.A. precision for christmas early.

got the call today, mine is done as well. Ordered 6/2, and the cal came today. 1 month and 3 days is not bad at all, thanks gap...

I can't speak for GAP, but I believe your only barrel options are length and fluting.

You know...I was completely fine with this wait and haven't given it much thought until the photos started flying and its in shipping. But now I've got the freakin' heebeejeebees thinking about this thing thanks to you assholes and we haven't even seen a range report with all this porn talk.

I ordered mine yesterday and went with a combination of mil-spec green and black. I LOVE the tan, but I wish the stock matched better. I would probably have gone with tan if they were a little closer.

I got a black 18" .308 with fluted barrel, PRS, and surefire break in my hands yesterday. Quickly mounted up a bi-pod and the SWFA scope from their recent group buy and went to the range. Only had time to get 40 rounds though it, but the last 20 rounds were all in a little over a 1" grouping at 100 yards. I'm sure with more stable platform it could have grouped better and I am very sure that with a better shooter it would have been better. No, no photos of the target as I used one of the shoot-and-see cover up dots before the last 20 rounds and it fell off making the grouping look bigger. Best bet is to shoot one yourself and make you're own groups if you need photos.

I love the gun and can't wait to get some proper range time in with it and then go remove some hogs from a friends ranch.

I originally bought a Nightforce NXS scope for this rifle, but seeing that it's still on backorder (3 months now) I put the super sniper scope on and I was more than happy with the scope. Not sure I'll be taking it off now.

To the rest of you still waiting, it's worth the wait! Honestly only the last day of waiting was the bad one.

I have had a handful of factory and GAP built Armalite Ar10s, all of which had a spring on the firing pin (between the firing pin shoulder and bolt), but I don't recall the DPMS having a spring on the firing pin.

I imagine the firing pin spring is just there to help prevent slam fires, given the heavier firing pin compared to an AR-15. I have a new HK MR 556 A1 which also has a similar spring.

Picked mine up yesterday. My wife looked at me funny when I told her me and the rifle were sleeping in the guest bedroom. Hopefully I'll get to the range soon, but just by the feel of it, the best AR I have ever seen put together.

I ordered my GAP 10 on May 31 and received it on July 11. Just left if black, 20" with a Badger Thruster brake, and Gieselle DMR trigger. Waiting for Atlas bipod and optics. Overall I'm impressed and can't wait to shoot it.
