Garmin Xero accessories only

The mount came out great, I'm just making some minor tweaks and get hardware ordered but expect to be able to start shipping next Monday (2/12/24).

You can preorder it here: https://dotechne.com/garmin-xero-weapon-mount

Made some minor tweaks and it's now shipping...

Changes made since the prototype:
  • Xero cut out now has a tighter tolerance & better fit.
  • Added a recess in the cutout that will further help with preventing rotation.
  • Added a 1/4-20 screw hole at the bottom so you can attach the tripod without needing to remove the device from the mount.
No problem clocking PCP air rifle with moderator.

I bought this case on Amazon and it fits like it was made just for this! I cut out some foam for a custom fit on the inside and I could not be happier with it. Amazon ASIN# B09CK6QGM7

Not 100% specifically for the Garmin, but works great. Use it as a rifle attachment, tripod attachment, or whatever your use case may be.

Like most of the Sport optics and Rifle clamps we make, it can attach to either Picatinny or Arca-Swiss type rails.

The irony is delicious—you rich cunts send leftists who hate you a bunch of money for overpriced kit; they, in turn, give it to politicians who also hate you, then make a boatload of money from Chinese influence.

So you support both homos and China, "cunt." (While thinking you are supporting America lolololol)
This isn't the Pit. Take a little time off to think on that.

Post people's personal information again, and you'll be gone.

Is this are your own design?
It looks really slick
Yep, it's my own design. The top part snap fits to keep it closed, but still easy to take off. This way I didn't have to deal with latches etc. Also, allows me to print several at a time. If interested PM me. Not sure if mods allow self promotion.

I had everything already from my camera so it worked out pretty good. The case came free with the Zero.

Has anyone seen a .stl for an M-Lok mount for the Garmin anywhere?

This case from Thingiverse turned out pretty well, FDM is great for this kind of light duty stuff, and I've got a lot M-Lok clad rifles floating around.

I blurred it out for the pic, but also added my contact info to the lid in my slicer so hopefully a good Samaritan might reach out if I somehow got separated from my Garmin at the range.

When I bought my Kestrel it came in a TYR Tactical pouch that fitted the wind vane and accessories which I rarely use. The pouch is a really good fit for the Xero with the Area 419 mount and the little tripod, it even has a pocket for the charging cable.

Pelican M50 + some leftover foam from some Alpha brass. A smaller Pelican 1020 was almost perfect but was too tight to close and remain watertight.

Would anyone be interested in a 3D printed MLok arm for the Garmin Xero? I got my Garmin in today and immediately went to design this piece. I will be taking it out to the range and see how it holds up to durability testing with the 458 Socom.

How did this hold up? I 3D print as well. My only concern with this is that the recoil would crack out the thin part of the model over time.

Just got a Xero and looking at cases. Like the idea of it being in something like a pelican or an Apache, but does it really need that level of robust protection? It seems pretty tough. I'm not a gorilla on my gear but I don't baby things either. My Kestrel just gots into a spot in my pack and I've never thought about protecting it further. Has anyone heard of anyone breaking a Xero? I bet the answer is no.

Mine rolls in a titanium bullet proof case, inside a Brinks truck, guarded by squeal team six.

Just get a GrayOps case, all the protection you need.

I have one of these. I believe it’s the Lowepro CS40. But I’d measure if I were you. Semi-hard.
