It didn’t end happily enough... but it could have been way worse.

Can’t wait to find out who the wizard in the trench coat is.

The security guard needs to get a medal for this.... stone cold cool under fire. He saved many in a church. His place in Valhalla or wherever he wants to go... should be assured

So from watching the video:

- The guy with the CCW is lucky as shit he got a solid first any only round into the shooter. It's blurry and small but the pistol looked like it was some short revolver? Good shot - wonder if he could do it again or everything literally just lined up.

- The guys on the wall who just got a shotgun pointed at them and both just stood there.

- I'll give credit to the people there that there was no constant screaming, and the dumb bitch that stands up and just starts yelling crying and screaming the entire fucking time apparently doesn't go to that church.

- Guy who died en route to hospital, I'm betting, died to lack of an med supplies and trauma care at the site before EMS got there. Look at them, they're all just kind of moving towards the downed people and just.....stand there.

- Every church needs 2 guys flanking the service (kind of like the guys at the wall, on each side) with a loaded AR15 in a cabinet. A church building design is a huge kill box; one large room with limited exists. Why just hope nothing happens?

People are waking up and refusing to be part of the "victim" narrative.
I would bet this has a unspoken and unrecognized knock on effect of dampening the enthusiasm of the next Communist who has dreams of shooting up a bunch of worshipers.

My previous trainer at the Gym consulted with one of the really big churches in the area on security, they take both the stopping a shooter and identifying who is the good guy / bad guy fairly seriously.

It's also why I try not to go anyplace that doesn't want me to carry a gun.
Sorry but a murderer is not going to care about your little feel good no guns rule.

At the supermarket right now. Getting tomatoes, eggs, and apples. Was talking with 4 other guys about random stuff, rain, and how traffic conditions are going to suck later. I showed them this article and the photo on the mainpage...

There are more HOLY SHIT's being said right now in this store than probably in the mission control room when that NASA Antares rocket blew up on the launchpad a few years back.

INCREDIBLE shooting and incredible bravery by those who stopped that scumbag. From the pic it looks like he had a rifle or another long gun of some kind.

RIP to the hero security guard.

This needs to be aggressively circulated, repeated, posted and reposted for all to see, everywhere.

Looks like first guy to get shot was trying to draw and couldn’t get it out. Took him FOREVER (figuratively and literally).

This guy was already sitting in the church, he didn't just pop in. He was sitting in the church with a shotgun, and no one noticed until he started shooting.

Bad profiling/failure to profile by the greeters/deacons whomever. I am on my church's security team. When these types show up, it is my job to evaluate them, baby sit them, and sit very close to watch thier every move.

I've actually ended up praying with people I thought I might have to shoot. Lot's of mental illness walking the streets in our area

You can bat your ass someone shows up in my church wearing any kind of garb like that, he'll be receiving my complete attention throughout the service.

I'll be watching the MSM tonight to hear the coverage of how an armed citizen stopped what would've (not could've) been a day of many deaths.

That first shot can be the best one of the day.

If its done on training its all muscle memory making it happen before the brain gets a chance to think and fuck things up.

Don't consider it luck if its the result of proper training.

That was a hell of a shot at that distance on a moving target with a pistol that size and under stress. What a hero. It's just too bad he wasn't able to draw and get a clean shot as soon as that POS drew the shotgun. It almost looked like he tried to draw discretely as soon as he saw the shotgun thinking the situation could still be defused, and then when the perp saw the guy nearby struggling to draw from a sit it went down fast. I counted 7 seconds from the time he pulls the shotgun til the time he hits the floor. Probably felt like a half hour to those in the front.

The good guy that takes him out... with a single shot from quite a distance! Must have been a CNS hit. The perp dropped right there.

Looks like the bad guy took out two parishioners at almost point-blank range. It looks like one of the guys he shot was TRYING to draw a weapon but was too slow. He was struggling to draw. Sad.

This level of stupidity I've seen posted the last few days in the pit is enough to make even Jesus to never stop throwing up. LL is right. Some of you fucking idiots do more harm than good for our rights and beliefs. It's a wonder he keeps this forum up and running.

Same, numerous times. I still will sit behind and near anyone in church I have concerns about, pick an isle seat and look casual.

I haven't prayed with my eyes closed for decades.
