I usually just use my backpacking sleeping mat and a small canvas tarp. I’m a newb though. Try to avoid harbor freight chi-com shit when I can. @Dirty D says a fumundacheese stained kali king mattress works best.

I’m actually moving some stuff, but figured when I’m done they’ll make a decent mat to lay on, I normally use an old military poncho so it’s an upgrade really. I’ll probably get a cheap tarp for when the grounds wet for a barrier
