this is scary, but more interesting is you can get a video capable, day/night vision scope for 800 bucks.

I say they first track and recover all of the weapons that they themselves had caused to fall into the hands of Mexican cartels in the last 10 years or so before attempting to stick their butts into the affairs of ordinary citizens...

Of course, anyone who really believes that this is the reason why they want this data has got to be more than two shades of stupid. This is part and parcel of the "identification, registration, and confiscation" agenda. Another reason why there is no reason to merge your shooting/reloading stuff with potentially hazardous tracking technology like these apps.
