I am not a tupac fan but I like technology and this is pretty darn good... keep an eye on his pants; the chain on his neck, this whole performance is extreamly lifelike... I can't wait for the day that when you goto the movies you watch them like this performance.

for those that don't know tupac - he's been dead a while...

You know, given all the "new releases" from Tupac ever since his death it's no wonder why some folks still think he's alive. I've said it before and I'll say it again, real rap died with the deaths of Eazy-E and Tupac.

And yeah that holographic performance was awsome!

Not a fan of rap at all, but that was pretty cool. Be cool to do the same with Elvis or Hank Sr. etc..

It's not holographic at all - it's a simple Pepper's Ghost projection. The not so simple part is the actual 3D animation, lighting and rendering, done by Digital Domain using the technology they created for "Benjamin Button."

ibelieve there are untapped millions from people who will pay to see an elvis concert or or johnny cash in a holograph. Bands could do multiple shows at multiple venues at the same time.
