Nice to see that you and I are advancing the living accommodations of our surgeons.
WTF, my take on that is that the news would like to pin this guys stupid actions on someone else who had previously been successful at it. So does every failed jumper get to sue Evil Knievel.
Man we are a bunch of fucked up hypocrites a guy can smoke 3 packs a day and drink a 12 pack of beer until he dies. And that is called Freedom. Yet this guy makes a choice and someone needs to be blamed.
Freedom is a double edged sword. Am i supposed to give a crap about the guy personally? 5000 other people were probably hurt on motorcycles that day.
i have an emotional response to victims, not the perpetrators. He didn't hurt anyone else so if he lives then something he will have to think about for awhile.

I would agree with you on the surgeon, but my lousy doc let it heal with just a figure 8 brace.
Thanks to him, I have a really nice impingment in that shoulder.
Bad arthritis in the right side makes for a nice pair.
Couple those minor things with spinal stenosis, bulged and herniated discs.
And, while we're at it, add in bilateral carpal tunnel.
There's more, but it would sound like I'm complaining.

I'm with you, right up until he's jumping over active freeways. They need to keep the jackassery shit on the track, not flying over families trying to go about their daily business. This is no different than one of us getting in trouble for shooting over a freeway, knowing damn good and well 99.999% of our rounds would remain well above motorists, but we don't do that shit for a .001% reason right along with it's illegal as fuck.
I fully agree with you and as soon as he get out of intensive care, if he lives, he should go to jail. I am not condoning jumping the freeway. More that the news reporter was a DICK for asking if that guy felt responsible. He should have said "hell no, I didn't hold a gun to his head. It isn't my fault he sucks".
