Im starting to work on some loads for my 300WM using the 208 gr. A-Max and H1000.
The closest I can come to 208 in my on hand reloading data is 200, or 220, and I have been advised to just split the difference. In my Lyman 48th 200 gr HPBT max charge of H1000 is 80 gr. and a 220 RN maxes out at 78 gr. H1000. Should 79 gr. be my stopping point?
I also found some Berger 210 VLD data on AR15.com that actualy came from here, in which Berger stated the 210 VLD with H1000 had a charge range from 72.5 to 76.2 gr. 76.2 giving 100% load density, with a max velocity of 2836, found HERE (Down by the bottom by StrategicEdge). I personaly loaded some up to 78 gr. and was only at about 75% fill.
How fast are you pushing the 208? And if with H1000, at what point did you start seeing pressure signs?
