Trump is not a Republican yes he ran as one (for the better) he sure isn't a socialist or a communist.
Bernie runs as a Democrat admitted socialist (communist) same same.
Hillary ran against Obama (communist parading as democrat) Hillary loses and got fucked (bad visuals) by the party.
So I think everyone is working on destroying the two party system really hard.
Will that make it better? I doubt it. Just look at the UK.

We just need to get rid of the current two parties.

Our Republic is not set up to be parliamentarian.

By nature it will become a two party system.

In one way that is good because it is designed to have two rivals always at each others throats.

Unfortunately the Constitution has been tweaked enough to eliminate some of the "friction" that ensured a gridlock of govt. requiring consensus decisions.
