Hunting & Fishing How To Mount Shed Antlers?

I recently found a massive set of mule deer matching shed antlers, and I'd like to display them on a plaque instead of having them lying on my garage floor.

Any tricks to mounting them to a plaque? Has anyone tried doing this?

The set is roughly over a thirty inch spread, a non-typical 8x9 with two 5 inch drop tines, and I'd like to show them the proper respect.

I've used Mountain mikes reproduction skulls on several sets. Works really well, easy to do! Let's see them sheds!.

You can buy a fake skull european mount kit thru Cabelas. My dad does a lot of european mounts and sometimes the skull is jacked up. I have a Cabelas close to my house so Ive bought them for him a couple of times. They have them in multiple sizes.
