I ordered a nf 8-32x56 nxs with mil- turretts and mil-dot reticle.
i got a call today that they dont make them with a mill mill combo.. only 1/4 or 1/8 moa turrets....??

I have a number for the nf United states dealer and havnt hear from him in over a week ive left 5 messages!

can someone help me figure out a model number for the optic i want please?? Im positive they have matching turrets to reticle.....

thanks in advance for any responses.

Can i get the above scopes without zero stop since my BOR's wont funtion with zero stop....?

Also ie looked up the difference between MLR and Mil reticles. What is the main difference? And what is best for out to 2000yds?

MLR just seems to be the same as the mil reticle except you have half mil adjustments which would make for finer adjustments in theory right?

It is just a matter of preference, which system are you more comfortable with. If you are completely new to the game, chances are that you will do fine with either system. I'd rather go with MLR than mil dots for the ability to use 1/2 mil spotting.

Looking at the CS Tacticl website I only see the 1/10 mil offered with the zero stop. The 1/4 and 1/8 MOA are offered without zero stop according to the website.

You should give Mike a call or send him a PM, perhaps it is something that can be ordered.

The options listed on our site are the standard options Nightforce gives us in their Product List and it is currently up-to-date. It's always possible to contact Nightforce on an individual basis and ask them for a custom config.

Thanks,

Re: I give up dealing with dealers were i live!!!

If I were going to order a NF, I'd just contact CS Tactical. Every place I've ever seen a NF in person around my area charges WAY more than MAP.

And ditto to what dmg308 said. If you want really long range, you should be looking at something like the 5.5-22x56, and then slapping on a NF 40MOA base.

Re: I give up dealing with dealers were i live!!!

You may want to list where you are from. It sounds like you are not in the U.S. There are export issues for mil-spec optics. Just something to look into.
