I miss being able to watch chat and read the posts, messaging is kind of fubared, ooohh well its franks site.Oh and Reply goes to quick reply, no place to post pics.Hope and change.......what ever.

Agreed, post count to zero..that is cold. I guess I should feel fortunate I only lost about 50 or so.

I will probably get flamed but shit happens, I think the change is for the best, pages load much faster and I have not run into the site is to busy to respond error since the change.

I lost 1500-ish posts but it's growing pains and shit happens so who gives a fuck. The chat room thing is pretty cool too and I'm still trying to figure out all these new buttons and options.

I just noticed my count has dropped by half or more. You think it would be all or none.
How so? I used to have my actual rank listed, but now I can't figure out how to modify (insufficient brain power).
I lost mine also,I think it transfered the posts from my original user name as I was re-named the old name I used when I first opened my account. I lost everything under my new name.(This is just a guess),Has any of the others that lost posts changed your user names over the years?

I lost over 1100....and a couple of stripes! LOL! I think I'll survive. I do NOT like the channges to the board however. Much preferred the old look.

Go to Settings, edit profile, Custom User Title and then enter what ever you want and save.
The skin will be changed and more will be added. It just takes time. The admins have a major undertaking on their hands, to say the very least. UBB hasn't released a software update for several years, creating a major security issue.
As time goes on, you'll come to appreciate vBulletin so much more than the UBB stuff that we've transitioned from. There's so many features and functionality that UBB didn't and most likely, never would've had.

Look up way high to the top right for MY PROFILE. Click that
Look at your SN(SCREEN NAME YOU GRABASTIC MAGGOT!) and scroll down until you see the little pencil. CLICK THE DAMN PENCIL MAGGOT!
Now look at the left side and scroll down to MY SETTINGS.
Now LOOK HARD AT THE MENU FOR EDIT YOU worthless grabastic shit eating turd. You need mroe help now? DO YOU MAGGOT? Just begin, smoke yourself until I start to sweat!

I was going to settings from a thread which doesn't have the same options.
I haven't noticed if I got demoted or lost posts, but it won't matter much to me unless I got knocked down to zero and want to sell something. But it won't be too difficult to get another 100 decent posts if that does happen.
But I have noticed that anytime I click on a thread it always goes to the first page, unlike on the previous site where it would go to the last page in the thread that I had read. Anybody else have this problem or know how to fix it? even though it is only a minor inconvenience.
Also, my display name changed to my login name..
I guess just some time messing with (and finding) settings should fix most of the minor differences.

*Edit #2: I now see that to change the display name all you do is go to your profile settings.

you didn't have to re- register, not a single account was lost you were just too stupid to do the right thing.
My post count went down by around 700 or so... not a huge deal, but my subscribed threads were all lost, too.

I have been messing with my settings all day yesterday and can't figure this out.
Right after the switchover all was well, then I loved in yesterday and the way I am viewing threads is FIBAR. When I go to a thread the username and avatar is on top, then location and post count are above the thread itself.
Could I be directed to the setting to change it so someones username and info is to the left of the screen and their posts are to the right?

You might try thread display option under general settings. Although I tried each option and none of them produced results you described.
