I will be running a 300 norma mag in this gun. I am looking at either the American rifle company one piece mount or a Larue mount. Anyone have any experience with both? thanks

Im running a Nightforce Xtreme duty Magmount on mine - Titanium is nice and light, looks fantastic, and plenty of clearance with my ATACR 7-35.

As per our PM talk the other evening, I have a 0 MOA and dial 16 mils to 1 mile, and from my Zero/zerostop, I have 27 mils I can go up, which will get me to 2000 meters, or just under 2200 yards. I still have hold overs at that point, but my rounds are sub sonic at that distance, so its unlikely id ever personally push past 2000. NF has a 20 MOA version, but after not only talking to Nightforce, but doing my own research as well, it isn't optimal to have your zero buried into the lower end of the turrets adjustment range, any more than it is having it cranked to max on the high end. I feel I have the perfect setup that I can do a 100 yard zero and shoot to 1 mile without having to max anything out, however the option is always out there to zero at a further distance and change your setup accordingly. The majority of my shooting is 800-1000m with all my load development at 100 yards, the mile shots are just to finish off my day and put a smile on my face. If you run Norma or Lapua, its likely your dial will be very close to mine as I shoot heavy bullets at high velocity.Question - Mike, 0 MOA on mount or ?
I ask as I was seeing up my AXMC today was going to go with a Spuhr mount with 0 MOA, but was suggested that I might better than the 10 MOA cant for additional come up.
What are your thoughts, shooting out to 1 mile, maybe 1.5, NF 7-35.
Understand that the optic has 100 MOA adjustment, and the rifle has a 30 MOA built into the rail.
Thanks!

I also have a 7-35 NF and even though the website and spec sheets say 100 moa. Pretty much everyone that has one has found they actually have about 120 moa. As mentioned I run 40 moa on my AXMC but would not suggest going more than that. With my DTA SRS I run my 7-35 with 30 moa of cant and it’s still leaves me a ton of adjustment.
