As far as prone with bipod. Typically your bipod is near or at the end of the forearm. Your not balancing the rifle. On the stages where there are funky positions and a bipod is moved rearward it can be helpful but really very few stages where your bipod is where you would place a bag in front of mag well... i would rather bag it at that point.
