I would listen to Lt.Co. There is no black and white with situation being fluid (stray rockets, phantom Migs, TU-141s, sanctions from hell, itchy trigger fingers etc...) and outcomes seem to be from WWIII with crispy critters and bomb shelter dwellers hoping for Morlocks scenario to nothing but a peace conference, pats on the back some kind of uneasy peace on the ground and reversal of some sanctions and perhaps not much in the terms of global financial armageddon.
