Let me share some frustration . . . . .
Several outlets have headlines in every news feed screaming about the Russian bombing of this theater.
Our current Admin is using this and other emotional tools to fan the flames enough to push NATO into a fight with the Russians.
This alone totally frustrates me as nothing about this is NATO's fight even if the Russians for real slaughtered every Ukrainian.
Most of the media outlets reporting this do not have any mechanisms in place to "comment" on their web pages so I went to the FB pages to comment.
Every one of the FB pages for the involved MSM will not allow posting of any link to media that purports a different narrative or contradictory facts. Any post that includes such a link is immediately blocked with the message that the link is SPAM and not permitted on their page.
Specifically on The Guardian's FaceBook page, I tried a link to one of the other MSM articles parroting what they were reporting and amazingly, that link was accepted.
I then deleted the post and made a new post without a direct link but I included verbiage asking whether The Guardian ever thought to look at alternative possibilities for the theater bombing. My entry was deleted within 60 seconds of posting.
Watching the MSM news feeds and every sound byte coming out of the Biden Admin shows that they are almost frothing for a fight. There is just too much attempted manipulation of public opinion visible even among the background noise of disinformation from both sides to conclude anything other than they are in heat for Russia to be taken off of the chess board for a decade or so.
Because I am stupid enough to use my actual name I am now waiting for my accounts to be hacked and other pissy reactions.

While the disinformation and propaganda coming from Ukraine and Russia is bad enough, the entire domestic medias of the western world in conjunction with tech companies have implemented effective systems to show one narrative. It's hardly even a narrative at this point, throw in cancel culture and it becomes a self censoring alternative type of reality people are living in.
Of course we witnessed this homogenization of media and narrative during covid and now it extends to Ukraine.
Also notice how investigative journalism sort of died out? Maybe Gary Webb getting shot twice in the head scared people off.
