This is simply a curiosity question. I've been shooting the 225 bergers out of a 26" bbl in a .300 win mag and I've noticed with the same powder charge it shoots faster than the 208 amax and the 210 vld. With 76.4 h1000 I'm at 2930 fps give or take a few. I shot two days ago and with a 100 yard zero it only took 20.5 moa to get to 920 yards. Is it the bearing surface? I'm not bitching.... More like dancing ... But merely curious why these are do fast...
