i dunno, i guess i have all sorts of opinions on this.
when we first started hearing about pedo priests, we didn't hear much about other pedophiles outside the clergy.
sure, there may have been a pervert caught once in a while, but it wasn't considered an epidemic in the public sphere the way it was portrayed in the media for priests. for the record, i was brought up catholic, was an altar boy, and never witnessed a priest acting inappropriately, other than being drunk at the yearly parish festival. my brother was a much cuter child, but he also claims to have escaped their clutches unscathed.
anyway, nowadays they catch pedos by the dozens at one time, although such news is not covered by our liberal minded media, and you mostly have to find the stories in UK or other foreign media.
while i don't believe an elite pedo ring was run from the basement of a pizza joint, i do believe pedophilia and child sex trafficking is much more common than .gov and the media wants you to know. arrests went way up when trump put emphasis on trafficking and now pedo joe put a hold on a national operation to catch and deport known sex offenders that are foreign nationals.
where are all the unaccompanied kids going? who is making sure some of them aren't being fed to monsters like hunter biden?

As far as I am aware, there isn't one. Guess that settles it; the Vatican has never inflicted harm in any way. If you believe any organization with deep pockets doesn't have influence, well, you can find your pix in the dictionary.
