The REAL danger will come around Friday or so when the polar front starts to withdraw. Warmer air along the boundary line will spawn a swath of rain and mixed precip that will cover most of the eastern half of the country. That rain is going to fall on blacktop and concrete that is still around 10°F ambient which means instant ice skating rink.
