ok something just popped in my head tonight and it was scary. Scary of me thinking, not the thought itself.

Ok, now I don't know all the specifics but I know enough? when Kennedy was assassinated it was a such n such caliber (someone fill me in)
and it was a round nose all copper bullet as I recall?

Ok so the caliber wasn't that big of a caliber and the shot was not a very long shot and the bullet was round nose as well as all copper, no lead.

So wouldn't that put the rifle he had the least likely weapon because it was such a piece of shit rifle? Meaning it was all about the bullet and I believe the bullet did exactly what It was supposed to do. Not meaning kill the president, but I believe the shooter knew exactly and I mean exactly the end result was going to be. The bullet and caliber and the distance as well as it was a round nose, is quite peculiar that I believe a professional sniper would use the same? He wasn't shooting a long distance, he wasn't going to have to be sub moa at 200 yards, and the round nose as well as caliber would be "perfect" for the hit at that range on a head shot.

So my theory would be at the time as well as even todays time, the bullet weight, caliber, etc fit this "hit" perfectly with the distance (which just coincendently fit where he shot from) was much more knowledge than this guy Oswald could have known? he got help from a professional hitman, my guess.

I would like other's comments and thoughts especially on the rifle, ammo, caliber etc.

This has been looked into. The rifle was a surplus 6.5 carcano.

They have even reenacted the original shot. It was a mover moving away from the shooter. If you YouTube it, you can probably find the reenactment.

Bullet was NOT a solid copper bullet, but rather a FMJ, surplus re boxed by Western Cartridge. BOOOCOOO bullet fragments, both lead and copper fragments, were entered into evidence at the Warren Commission. There has been 10,000s of pages written about what "fragment" did what, did the fragment(s) have biological matter on them, was there any evidence of cloth on them (deposited on the fragment from passing though clothing, cloth seats etc.), how many fragments were lodged in the Pres, etc. etc. The use of "all copper" bullets would have been the last thing a war-time mfg would have done during WWII, as copper was much harder to come by than lead, and lead core bullet, OF THE SAME DESIGN, will always have a high BC than solid copper bullets, OF THE SAME DESIGN, due to the density of lead. A quick search of the Ballistics of the Kennedy Assassination will pull up at least one photo (WC) of a bullet-twisted, and the jacket ripped open revealing the common lead core type construction.

Needless to say, considering the man`s experience within high-ranking levels of the CIA and Military, I highly respect his word. Its a wonder this dude wasnt taken out when he said something.

Theres not a doubt in my mind the CIA was involved. Well, maybe not the "CIA" as an entity, but individuals within the Agency for sure. Thats not nearly the only thing he talks about in the book, he goes into everything from the last days of the OSS up through Guatemala, Bay of Pigs, etc in a huge amount of detail.

I took away from it that beside the fact that individuals within CIA were responsible for a President`s death, his other main gripe with the Agency is that they want(ed) so bad to basically be their own military/paramilitary but would then screw up a lot of situations they created and would either back out of it if they had to or get bailed out by the military and get the entire country neck-deep in some serious sh!t. Obviously this book is pretty old, but you can pretty well see that even back then, wherever there was/is a trouble spot, if the CIA wasnt the one that created the trouble then they would get involved in it as soon as they possibly could.

He also goes into some pretty cool details about the Agency being able to "wash" Active Duty Military into civilians overnight or turn CIA Agents into Active Duty Military members with credentials and a convincing Military history. Not to mention the bureaucracy involved is retardedly extensive due to the Agency wanting to classify EVERYTHING as absolutely Top Secret, even useless stuff that doesnt matter one bit.

I would definitely recommend reading this one.

I remember watching JFK: Smoking Gun and the story went on to say that the shot that killed Kennedy came from the car behind Kennedy's car. The show said it was an AR-15 that they showed an agent had while driving off. The pic was from under the bridge and yet the CIA wrote in a letter that none of their agents were carrying an AR. The ballistics were explained by showing what the 6.5 carcano did, passing through Kennedy and the person in front of him. Then the head shot from behind with 5.56 that entered the slightly right, middle portion of the skull and fragmenting on contact and finally blowing out the right side of the head.

It left me thinking... How could one round pass through 2 people and the next round shatter on impact with skull bone?

It made me curious.

I watched that one too. The interesting piece was they provided documentation that most of JFKs secret service agents were out boozing until 5am, a couple hours until duty began.

The rookie, who was supposed to be driving stayed in, and had to take over gunner duties with the AR. They said he was the one who accidentally popped a round into the president.

Exactly. If you look into the man I talked about above, L Fletcher Prouty, he was "Mr. X" in the movie JFK.

I dont know whether there were multiple shooters or not, but I feel pretty damn confident in Mr Prouty`s word. I cant remember who actually it was, but Mr Prouty describes in the book how he was assigned something and purposefully sent a long ass way away during the time the assassination took place.

This one has been beat to death. It would not be difficult for a trained person to use that rifle and make those shots.
That round nosed bullet had a BAD habit of tumbling due to it's length and relatively low velocity.
History channel (See above) beat this to death ballistically and validated that Oswalds rifle shot the fatal bullet that killed Kennedy.
I say his RIFLE because there is question of how he could have fired it while in the breakroom chatting with the young ladies.
That's only a conspiracy theory, the facts pretty much validate that he did it.
And if the CIA was involved, they did a mighty fine job of covering it.

To me, that there was a second shooter and possibly a frontal shot as well, is not in question.
But the fatal round was fired from the 3rd floor book depository using Oswalds rifle.

They even brought in 3 human like dummies that react the same when hit, and they reacted exactly the same way when shot from the correct height and angle.

THAT SAID, when you see that he went to Mexico and attempted to join some group in a foreign country (Cuba I believe) and they rejected him he even said he would do something to earn his spot.

I'm even fairly convinced Oswald fired the shots.

Now onto conspiracy theories on this - a few of them merit SOME attention.

What do Kennedy and Watergate have in common?
That's the million dollar question there.
There is a photo of George HW Bush in Dallas the day before and the day OF the shooting.
There is a witness that came forward and stated Bush was present in Watergate and that POSSIBLY it was related to some documentation on the assassination.
