I've got a few hundred rounds that have an '85 headstamp on them. M80 is machine gun ammo, and I got it in little linked 4 round strings as someone else had pulled all the tracers.

    Observations:

Case Lengths, I've seen full length re-sized once fired that ran from 1.998 to 2.014. I trim them to 2.005 and throw out the short ones.

This crap is HOT. The recoil is noticeably sharper than my reloads and from my 26" VLS I get high 2900s to just over 3000 fps, 44.9 gr of Varget only pushes a 150gr Sierra Pro hunter at 2844 from my 26" barrel.

I was working up a hunting load with 150gr Sierra bullets today, I was using once fired full length resized and trimmed brass from this lot so it's apples to apples. Not that I'm trying to duplicate it but I'd probably have to load close to 46gr of Varget to get that fast.
