Lapua brass is TIGHT!

Wow. I've never seen a tighter primer pocket. I ruined 6 210M's before I got the hang of it with an RCBS hand priming tool. I found that if I held the case against the back of the shell plate they seated fine, but if the primer got cockeyed just the slightest bit the primer deformed. I guess I got too used to RP brass in my .260. NOTE: I'm not saying this is a bad thing, in fact I am very happy that the primer pockets are tight. However, there is a learning curve.

Priming Federal 210 primers in Lapua brass can be a little tricky. I went to the Sinclair primer seater which made the process so much easier. Ray

i uniform primer pockets in my Lapua brass. works well

+1 for the Sinclair seater. I have several set up with different shell holders and I use them for all of my rifles. Great feel and I haven't ruined a primer yet.

I've never had a problem seating primers to LAPUA brass with my Forester Co-Ax , they do seem tighter than most !

Never had an issue on thousands of them. Get a 21st century priming tool .. thats what i have used.
