DAMN! That is one mean looking rig!

Nothing special, just something that materialized from a 700P donor rifle.

Is it a .260 Rem or 6.5 CM?

Mine started off from a SPS Donner too, even though not nearly as custom as Many of these rigs on the Thread but it is still Very Special to me. I like your Clean Look, got everything you need, and nothing you don't. Great Rifle Sir!

260, I edited the post to add that. It's my budget rig, built to do whatever I need it to at the moment. Right now I must need it to collect dust in the safe, because that's what it's doing :D

Nice rigs BigJoe29! What barrel contour and diameter (Breech end to muzzle) is the barrel on the Mauser action?

Started life as a Rem700 SPS Tact in .308. Just had the action trued and Krieger barrel chambered in .260 and installed by NW Actionworks. Only has 130ish rounds through it, 142SMK's at 2820 FPS, and has proven to be plenty accurate from 100-1300 yards thus far. Absolutely zero complaints.

So there has been A LOT of Great .260 Rem and 6.5 Creedmoor Builds lately. I've been searching for a dedicated Picture/Build thread but didn't find one, so I'm hoping we can start one. With Pictures/Specs/Builder/Load Info if possible.

Here's mine.

This was my First Ever Bolt Action Rifle started life as a Remington 700 Short Action SPS Sporter Pencil Barrel .308.

Specs Are:
Remington .260 Shilen Select Match Barrel 24" Fluted 1 in 8 Twist
Bushnell HDMR 3.5-21x50mm G2DMR Ret (First Gen 5 Mil/Rev)
Seekins Precision 34mm Low Rings
Weaver Tactical 20MOA Base
Factory Tuned Trigger
Choate Tactical Stock with Adjustable Length of Pull
(Fully Bedded the Entire Length/Fore end all the way down the Barrel Channel) Also Replaced the Sling Swivel with QD Cups to use TAB Gear Sling with QD Connect, this is actually the closest stock I can find that "feels" like my TRG22 Stock which I like a lot.
Badger Bottom Metal Cerakoted OD Green with 10 round Alpha Mags
KRG Bolt Lift in OD Green to match the Bottom Metal.
Harris S 6-9 Bipod to finish off.

Here's some Pics, Let's see Yours!

I just recently getting into Reloading so I don't have a load cooked up for it yet. But with Black Hills and Lapua 142 Match Ammo Her best group was .371, so far less than 300 Rounds down the tube.
Is the bbl free floated? Wondering because of the bedding.

Is the bbl free floated? Wondering because of the bedding.

Yes the Barrel is still Free Floated. The Choate Stock isn't the best but I like it's ergonomics for personal reasons (Feels close to my TRG22). But to strengthen it further some material was taken out of the barrel channel then completely bedded. It is very solid and yet still very light weight compare to many high end stock/chassis.

I wanted this to be a comp gun so I made sure to keep it simple and light. It worked out pretty good and didn't cost me a arm and a leg either. Thanks!

HOG.

Sorry for the hazy photos, but that was about our visibility this morning!

Specs:
RWS Built
Surgeon 591 with 24" M40 contour Bartlein (deep flutes)
Big Chubby Brake
Timney 510
Vortex Razor EBR2B
APO Saber Forsst Mod 0 Chassis (KMW Sentinel on order...if you haven't seen my 500 WTB ads, it's something I've wanted for a long time and did not want to have to wait...I just spoke with Mr. Cross yesterday, and it looks like I'll be waiting!)

I actually really like the Saber Forsst. It is extremely comfortable to shoot.

This morning was my first time shooting this beauty (couldn't find any powder...imagine that). At 300, I put 5 just inside of an inch, and another couple of groups where the 5 were just outside of an inch. It was gusting 15-22mph too, and I am by no means even remotely decent at LR shooting. So, for me, this was outstanding!

I know all of these builders on here build some excellent systems, but I can only attest to RWS's work. RW Snyder builds some siiiiiiiiiick shit!
