I'll Go First.

My Armalite AR10 started off as run of the mill 20" incher. Had the Barrel cut down to 18" and Rethreaded. Shoots pretty good for now but eventually will get a different Match Grade Barrel for it.

Here is my version of a sass before I decided to try to go a little lighter. Rifle weighed about 14lbs in this configuration.

Remington R-25 Upper and lower
Magpul PRS
Ergo Tactical grip
20" Criterion Barrel 1-10" Twist
AAC Muzzle Break
13.8" Troy Handguard
Vortex 5-15x44 Midway Special

Shoots sub MOA with 175 FGMM.

Looks about right. Mine weight in at 15 lb empty as shown. it's definitely a PIG! I would not want to drag this thing around for long. I'll have my DPMS Recon 16" for that.

You're right, nice fluting for sure on the Barrel! How are you liking that Bobro scope mount? They always seems a bit weak to me... especially for the single point of contact with a bigger scope like that. That handguard looks sweet though!

Bobro mount is SOLID enough to use the ViperPST as a carry handle. Honestly, noticed no shifting or movement. Mine's gtg though, awesome ret.to zero.

That's Great to hear Lazy! I'm the same way, my Armalite is my first Precision Gas Gun. The fact that it's the "Original" AR10 that started all also making it a special place in my heart and my collection.

Thanks, it's a factory T just cut down to 18 inches. I added a PRI adjustable gas block brcause she was over gassed and when I put tbe can on it was worse. The BCG has been sent to IonBond for CrN. The finish is Cerakote FDE....

Love the looks of that Rifle Ghost. How are you liking the mounting setup of your Sparc? I got essentially the same setup as yours except mounted it below the scope using the Lion Tactical 45' Cant Mount. It's very low profile and easy to transition. Thanks for posting!

My Armalite 300 Ultra SASS

Armalite 24" 300 SAUM upper with a 1:10 twist threaded 5/8x24 for the YHM Phantom QD suppressor mount.
Installed a tac latch on the charge handle and replaced the original fiberglass tube with a TROY 13.8" MRF Battle Rail.
Nightforce 5.5-22x56 NXS with the NP1RR glass in a 20 MOA AADMOUNT

Went with an Armalite stripped lower
Armalite NM 2 Stage trigger with 3 lb JP Springs
KNS Anti Rotation trigger pins
Tubbs Enhanced AR10 Flat chrome silicon buffer spring
CAA SRS Sniper Stock with the Monopod
Ergo Tactical Deluxe Suregrip with the palm shelf and a Magpul MOE trigger guard

I just srewed this together recently. I built it to be as light as I could get for reasonably cheap.
Hogan lower, DPMS upper, JP bolt and carrier, JP 16" supermatch, POF / Timney trigger, ACE stock, Lancer handguard, little 10x NF w/ NF Unimount.
Wind really kicks it's ass at 600 which is as far as I have taken it out to. Once I decide that I like it, I will paint it. I think that playing w/ this little short fucker for a year will tighten up my wind game pretty good and fill the freezer too. Oops, my crappy pic took up the whole page
