Suppressors Leviathan Suppressor... any experience?

You’re ill informed sir.

Unfortunately @PFG is correct. I'm one of those guys who paid money, never received anything, was lied to and still has yet to see a refund. I start to lose patience when I find out, through my own homework, that I was directly lied to.

@Lowlight this isn't a direct reflection on you but you supported and pushed his product. I hope you're aware of whats been going on. If not, I'd love to enlighten you.

I’m pretty certain if you contacted Leviathan you’ll get a refund. I’m pretty certain that your own homework includes FB and other opinions that don’t know what actually happened.

Frank supported them because their product is phenomenal but never produced a video or anything like a review. Support yes, but nothing serious.

Maybe you should do your homework. I have contacted Leviathan (Chris), many times, with many lies.

My homework includes the ATF. Does yours?

Many times with many lies? Sounds like having kids.

My homework does include the ATF. More importantly you can’t expect things to happen overnight. We live in an instant gratification society and it hasn’t done anything besides eliminate patience. Your phone is a great example. Regardless of how angry and frustrated you are you have to be realistic and patient.

It’s always amazing to me that with the cost of buying a suppressor plus tax stamp plus wait...that folks are willing to take chances with second rate (or in this case, no rate) companies in hopes of what? Cutting edge? Don’t waste your time or money. Buy from a legit company. Buy a proven product. Buy from someone who stands behind their stuff.

Ok Chris, I was hoping not to have to write this but if you want to keep this going, Here. We. Go.

I picked up a 50% cert in October at the Core Fall Classic and immediately ordered a can, paying $550ish. Other than checking in with you for nothing other than being a friend (you seemed like a really nice guy) I never bothered you about the can. As I understood it, you were a small shop and new to the business. I wanted to support a good person with a good product. Or so I thought...

On Novemebr 23rd, you told me you had the baffles of my can done but were waiting on tubing. Awesome! Sooner than i thought and awesome communication. This was the same text thread that I wished you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving (see how this is going? You seemed like a genuinely nice person and I considered you a friend). On January 6th, I messaged you to see how things we're going and how your tube situation was going. No demands made about timelines, just a simple check-in to see how you have been and to have a chat, nothing more. You said cans were coming so figured that meant you had those tubes in. In this same thread, you told me you were going to contact my dealer the next day and all I said was thank you.

on January 25th, I sent a text seeing if you were able to get a hold of my dealer and you said you did but you couldn't complete the transfer because of the government shutdown. Completely understood that and didn't even question it. in that same thread, we talked about family..... following the same trend of me seeing this as more than a business transaction but more a friend in the industry who's a great guy. I also made a joke about taking a pic of my can for me and you said no problem. That never came.

On January 29th, you said you hadn't seen my form 3 approved yet but thats because it was never submitted (Lie). On Feb 2nd, I was in my dealers shop and had asked if they had ever been contacted by you but no one there had ever even heard of you. I texted you Feb 2nd telling you this and I got a response 2 days later (Feb. 4th) with a pdf copy of a submitted Form 3. I thanked you a bunch and went on my way, ignoring that I was lied to that is was previously submitted. On Feb 11th, you texted me to say you are still trying to get Form 3's processed. Again, I didn't question it and we continued to have a conversation regarding your new product, a large magnum can. Two weeks later I asked if you'd be at the Altus match but you said you couldn't because you were trying to finish cans up.

On march 11th, I contacted my dealer because I had heard Form 3s were being processed in normal time and something just didn't seem right to me. My dealer stated that their form 3 times were running normal and they offered to do me a favor and contact ATF for a status on my serial number. What they told me blew my mind. It was submitted the 4th of February and approved February 12th. 8 days for approval but you had lied up to the 28th saying you had no approvals. When I confronted you with this information, your only response was "Do you do Paypal" for a refund. That would be great but instead, that Paypal refund bounced 5 days later and Paypal informed me the transaction was cancelled.

i texted you after that and I got "I'm working on it". Through the grapevine, I had heard there was something going on behind the scenes so I contacted Kansas ATF. I won't go into that conversation because I consider conversations with law enforcement to be confidential but lets just say your company took everyones money and didn't produce a single thing. If thats a lie, then I guess you're calling the ATF liars. I was told to contact you via phone to setup payment of a refund and i got a text saying "You'll have it by the end of April".

Sorry Chris but the gig is up and my patience has run out. I really hope that you didn't intend to do this and just made poor business decisions. You really seemed like a good person and I hope that still holds true. That's where ill leave it. have a good day.

PS- you just changed your profile picture so it isnt a pic of yourself. Don't type in the third person like it isn't you.

Just so I’m getting this straight; he submitted and got the for 3 approved but never actually produced the can?

I was pointing out it is in fact Chris using the username even though he was trying to hide by using 3rd person wording, not the thread count about the shadiness of the entire situation. I feel bad for those who are being strung along waiting for their refunds as promised.

Yea there’s at least two Leviathan threads going on. This one, and the one I started.

"In recent years, several influential books have attempted to dispel the myth that most sociopaths are ruthless killers and criminals. On the contrary, they argue, the nearest sociopath might be a boss, a partner, or a parent. While sociopaths may not all be literal outlaws, however, a defining characteristic is a profound lack of conscience—a flaw in the moral compass that typically steers people away from breaking common rules and treating others decently. Yet this internal moral disconnect may be masked by a charming demeanor."

If all the reports are correct,

I am sure he is not gonna appear until after the fact.

If they are actively investigating him unless they offer him a deal to repay everyone to avoid prosecution, I suspect this will run it's course criminally and everyone will be out of luck until a civil case can go forward.

not sure where it all falls today, but I suspect the ATF on his tail unless they give him a deal, the money is gone unless a judge says otherwise.

I have a feeling that’s where this is going.... nowhere.

When I spoke to the ATF, they made it clear they can not force repayment but were working with him to make things right (regarding repayment). Since then, I have a feeling it’s gotten way worse than initially expected.

Hey guys I just started a Suppressor company, the can will be made out of Ti with pretty rainbow welds. Send me $1200 and I’ll make you one! (Insert tasteful artsy Instagram photo here) I may or may not ever make you something, but I’ll continue to take your pre order money and post artsy Instagram photos.

I take PayPal.

I blacked out his significant others face out of respect but apparently living the high life while owing people a bunch of money that he scammed is ok....
