Sorry if this has been covered. I was talking to a buddy about a stock for an AR10. I mentioned the PRS I have on an AR15 and how I wanted to try and shed some weight. He said he has a LMT DMR 308 he would sell for $200. Does this seem reasonable for one in good condition?

LMT does not make bad kit. But the PRS, albeit heavy, is a very nice stock. Do you really gain anything in the swap? The two look suspiciously similar.

The LMT will be going on a AR10. The PRS is on a ar15.

Roger that. I like trying different things. So, long as it fits, why not try it given LMT's reputation for quality kit?

Quick google search seemed to indicate his asking price is a reasonable deal. I like the PRS on my JP LRP-07 large frame. But it is heavy.

I've used them both, like them both. The LMT is about 4 ounces lighter. Minimum LOP is going to be shorter on the LMT if that matters.
