As the title states, I'm looking for someone to thread a barrel for me. It's a Green Mountain 10/22 barrel, I don't need it cut, just threaded with a thread protector for my Sparrow. I need someone who can do it quick (looking to get the gun up and running ASAP) and looking to spend as little as possible. I don't normally cheap out on work, but in this case where a new barrel can be had with threads and a thread protector for about $150, I'm going to have to be a bit stingy or I'll just buy a threaded barrel.

PM or post with the particulars if you want the job!

Re: Looking for someone to do a thread job

Shoot it first with the new stock. Then if its still a hammer as you remember spend the money to have it threaded, keeping in mind not all barrels are created =. You may be able to spend the same ammount of $ on a prethreaded barrel but will it shoot as well??? It just may be worth the extra money in the end...

But then again you could get the prethreaded barrel for short change and it shoot better. This shit is fun, aint it
