Marlin 925 as a Trainer

Ive got a marlin 925, and I want to add a few things to make it a wee bit better. I have a plan for optics, but I kinda want a heavy barrel. Bipod is gonna be a rockmount. I kinda want a different stock though. What should I do Hide?

You should put a rifle basics trigger on it to start.
