What a sad world you live in Lawn. If helping your fellow person out is beneath you, that says a lot about who you are a a human.
It is a sad world. It used to be a great place. Now it's full of dipshits that won't accept any personal responsibility for their actions, so they vote for anybody willing to put forth a law or 'executive order' that makes their problem somebody else's fault.
I help people out all the time, I never said it was beneath me. Quit pretending you know anything about me like we've been pals since high school or something. You presume much, and know little.
I don't see relinquishing elements of my individual freedom so all the old and feeble can pretend there isn't a virus floating around that might kill them as just, fair, or legal. If you don't like it, guess what? IDGAF.
I'm just stating the obvious which leftys love to ignore. Applebee's isn't critical. Neither are malls, movie theaters, even Thanksgiving dinner... Might wanna skip it this year if you're in an at risk category. Or don't. That's the beauty of America, we all get to decide for ourselves. You do NOT decide for ME.
This is a communist/socialist policy, make the many responsible for the health and we'll being of the few.
Maybe next year we'll have to pay for their medical expenses too! Ya know, cause they can't work cause of Covid so everyone with an essential trade gets an 80% tax bracket next year so the medical costs of the feeble and 'non critical' jobs have their costs covered.
People like you make me laugh. You try to bullshit me and make me feel guilty for managing my own risk and not worrying about yours. 'Its just a small inconvenience' you say, as though the only damage being done are people's tempers about wearing a mask.
You ignore the MILLIONS of people out of work, with no healthcare and benefits, all so we can supposedly protect the 2% of the population most vulnerable.
For people who squawk about 'the greater good' you sure are willing to destroy lots of lives to accomplish it along the way.
I think we'll just agree to disagree.
