I picked up my GA Precision Crusader today...makes me so glad I sold my TRG 22. This rifle is one solid package and I cant wait to shoot it.
Anyway, I wanted the KMW Loggerhead adjustable cheek piece on it, but I found this one, it didnt have it, and I wouldnt have to wait, so I bought it.
I'm putting a Nightforce mil-spec F1 on it (50mm obj). The gun came with Badger med rings.
I put the rings on, and they seem to sit somewhere about 1/4 to 1/2 inches to high for my cheek weld.
I was gonna order some Badger low rings...but they are just barely lower, so I'm not sure they would help. Plus I'm not sure my scope would clear with the low rings.
So, I put on my stock pack and they helped a lot, but it covers up the flush cups where I wouldnt be able to use the sling, so that wont work.
Ive read where you cant retrofit the KMW cheek set up, unless the stock came set up for an adjustable cheek, so thats out.
So, here is about the only option short of using duct tape and foam...
Can one of the above adjustable cheek pieces be retrofitted on my stock, and if so, are they a solid piece? I dont see them used a whole lot as compared to the other style of adjustables.
